Getting Ready for Science Fair: Thursday, March 3, 2016 (Day 6)

 

Notes for all:

  • Please feel free to invite your parents to your Science Fair. (see times below)
  • You will be assigned a number which corresponds to your table assignment. Your project MUST be on the table that has your number on it. Do not switch the numbers, as we have a map for judges.
  • Please pack your display board in a green garbage bag (or similar), which you will KEEP to take home your project. Make sure your project AND your bag have your name(s) on them.
  • Stay with your project so you can talk to judges. Please be respectful. No running, horseplay, yelling etc. There will be zero tolerance for disruption.
  • There is no food or drink (except plain water) allowed in the gym during the Science Fair. Also, please leave all your binders, backpacks, gym clothes, electronics etc. in your locker. You may bring one novel and/or your sketchbook.
  • Absolutely ALL Science Fair projects will be taken home at the end of the day on Thursday.
  • Please keep your project (i.e. do not destroy it!) until you know if you have been selected for the Regional WWSEF on April 5 at Bingeman’s. Winners will be announced the next week.

 

 

Classes 72, 74, 75, 76, 83, 86, 88
  • Your Fair is periods 1 and 2 (8:40 – 10:10).
  • You will set up your display on Thursday morning between 7:45 and 8:20 a.m.
  • You will go to Advisor and head straight to the gym after announcements.
  • After the Science Fair is over (during period 3), you will take your packed-up display board to your Advisor class to store it until 2:45. You will then pick it up and take it home.

 

Classes 71, 73, 77, 81, 82, 84, 85, 87
  • Your Fair is periods 5 and 6 (1:10 – 2:40).
  • You will store your folded display board in your Advisor classroom until period 4.
  • You will set up your display period 4, with your period 4 teacher. This may not take all of the period, so be prepared for your period 4 class.
  • You will go to period 5 for attendance and then head straight to the gym with your period 5 teacher.
  • After the Science Fair is over, you will take your display board home with you.
