William G. Davis has a variety of tools to communicate school events.  Our primary mode of communication is through our school website wgd.wrdsb.ca.  We recommend that parents check our newsfeed at least once a week for important information and up-coming events.  We also have our twitter feed, @WG_Davis, that gives students updates about daily events and reminders within our school.  Most recently we have added School Day allowing parents to access online permission forms and payments for trips.  In addition to these forms of communication the Waterloo Region District School Board has established new guidelines that allow for email communication that is compliant with Canada’s new anti-spam legislation (CASL).  By registering an email address through the Board’s new system, teachers are able to communicate with parents in an on-going manner.  Please see the attached link for more information.  Communicating with schools via email
