The Wm. G. Davis after school ski/snowboard club runs for 5 consecutive Wednesday’s starting on January 21, 2015. This is an excellent opportunity for students to either learn a new winter sport or enjoy a familiar sport of skiing / snowboarding with friends from school. We will be leaving Wm. G. Davis at 3:00 and carpooling to the ski hill each Wednesday with teacher volunteers as well as any parents who can help drive at this time. All students are expected to arrange for their own ride home from Chicopee at 7:45 sharp. We would like parents to pick up their child in the lobby at the front entrance to Chicopee’s ski chalet. It is a school board policy that all students must wear a winter sport helmet. Helmets are included in the rental package or can be rented separately for a fee of $5.00 at Chicopee. Also, it is recommended that snowboarders wear protective wrist guards. The dates of our after school ski/snowboard club will be as follows:

The cost for the 5 weeks is:

Lift Ticket, Assessment/Lesson                             $125.00

Lift Ticket, Assessment/Lesson, Rentals             $180.00

With your son/daughter’s commitment, we would like the completed forms and payment no later than Tuesday, January 6, 2015 to ensure their spot. Please pay by cash or cheque (payable to Wm. G. Davis). If your child is ill for one of the dates or we need to cancel due to inclement weather, you will be reimbursed for that night.

The 5 week program at Chicopee is a package which includes a weekly lesson. Students will experience a group lesson each week for progression of skills from their certified, experienced and informative team of ski and snowboard professionals in a safe environment.
