Grade 8 students at William G. Davis have the amazing opportunity to attend the 2016 Youth Symposium on Wednesday, April 13th, 2016. The Symposium is sponsored by the Child Witness Centre and is designed for grade 8 students from around the region. It will address social issues faced by youth at a key point in their life.  Through inspirational and well-informed speakers, who can engage an audience and serve as good role models, the Symposium provides a strong positive influence on youth.

We are hopeful that through the inspiring messages and role models, this day will make a difference in the lives of our students at Davis.

Students are STRONGLY encouraged to bring their own lunch, as the event is a full day.

The Child Witness Centre requires confirmation of all attendees because of the popularity of this event and the extensive waiting list.

We require permission forms and payment to be returned no later than THURSDAY, MARCH 31st

Payment can be made in the form of cash or on School Day. Permission forms are also available on School Day to facilitate the process.  If you would like to use School Day and have not yet registered, please contact Mrs. Crawford at the school.

Should you have any questions or concerns about the program being offered, please contact Mr. Alischer at the school (519) 653-2384 at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Mr. Alischer
